IIT Admission Entrance test 2013 CBSE & UP board marks
The top 20 percentile of each board will be eligible to take the advance test administered and controlled by the IITs.

All IITs have agreed to the new formula that has ended the IIT row. In the new formula, two exams, main and advanced tests will be held.
The IITs would conduct an advance test in which top 1.5 lakh students from the CET would sit. This advance test would be held on a date different from the CET.
The top 1.5 lakh students from the main exam merit list can take the advanced entrance exam. To be eligible for the IIT merit list the score of the advanced test as well as the condition that the aspirant is in the top 20 percentile of his/her board will be taken into account.
