*For Sub Engineer (Mechanical & Electrical) & Junior Engineer (Mechanical & Electrical) Posts Candidates should have Engineering Degree in Mechanical / Production / Automobile or Electronics Engineering branch .
*For Sub Engineer (Architect) Posts Candidates should have Degree in Architecture Planning from any recognized university .

This handout contains details pertaining to various aspects of the online exam you are going to undertake
and important instructions about related matters. You are advised to study the handout carefully as it will
help you in preparing for the examination.
The on-line examination will comprise the following objective type multiple choice tests as stated below

Questions in the Technical Knowledge test will be based on the subject of specialisation.

(iv) Canal and Irrigations- structures, constructions
(v) R.C.C structures, measurement, strength of steel, rivets
(vi) Engineering drawing and mapping- R.F distance mapping
(vii) Internet basics—protocol (Expansion of URL, HTML, HTTP)
SUB ENGINEER (ELECTRICAL & MECHANICAL) and JUNIOR ENGINEER (ELECTRICAL & MECHANICAL)

(vi) Thermodynamics- I.C Engines,
(vii) Inventory management – calculation of EOQ (Economic order quantity)
(viii) Electrical measurements- watt-hour meter, dynamometer,
(ix) Electrical Energy- Voltage, resistance, current, eddy current
