Applications are invited for 216 posts of Craft Instructors (in thepay scale of Rs. 10300-34800+4600 G.P) and 33 posts of Senior Assistants (in the pay scale of Rs. 10300-34800 + 4400 G.P) to be filled on regular basis in the department of Technical Education and Industrial Training, Punjab (Industrial Training, Wing).The information regarding detail of posts, reservation chart, qualifications, pay-scale and other terms and conditions etc. is given below. Age Limit: Candidates should be between 18 to 38 years as on 01.01.2013. Upper age limit is relaxable to the extent of 5 years for Scheduled Castes/Tribes/Backward Classes and up 10 years for physically handicapped persons. An Ex-serviceman shall be allowed to deduct the period of his service in the Armed Forces of the Union from his actual age and if the resultant age does not exceed the maximum age limit prescribed by more than 3 years, he/she shall be deemed to satisfy the condition regarding age limit. Applicants in Govt service shall be eligible upto 45 years of age.
Selection Procedure: A separate written test will be conducted for every post. The merit for these appointments will be prepared strictly on the basis of marks obtained in the written test.

3 The orthopedically handicapped are those who have a physical defect or deformity not
less that 40%. The blind are those who suffer from either of the following conditions: (a)
Total absence of sight, (b) Visual acuity not exceeding 6/60 or 20/200 (Sheller) in the
better eye with correcting lenses, (c) Limitation of the help of vision subtending and angle
of 20 degree or worse. This should be certified by the Civil Surgeon of the District to
which the applicant belongs. It should also be certified in the medical certificate that the
applicant is otherwise fit for the post he/she is applying.
4 Applicant should have passed Punjabi up to matric standard.
5 At the time of interview/counseling Government/Semi Government employees will be
required to bring no objection certificate from their employer.
6 Candidate should bring two recent passport size photographs, duly attested by gazzetted
officer at the time of written test.
7 Applicant must have acquired minimum qualification and experience on or before the last
date fixed for receipt of applications.
