The applicant should draw a D.D. on any Nationalized Bank or Scheduled Bank of amount Rs. 200/- for Open Category, Rs. 100/- for OBC/SC/ST/NT/PH/VJ Categories and Rs. 200/- for a canditate from other state, in favour of “Registrar, North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon” before proceeding for filling Onine Application Form. It is mandatory to have D.D. before proceeding for online application form submission.
Candidate should enclose documents as mentioned in the Information Brochure along with the hard copy of application form
D.D. on any Nationalized Bank or Scheduled Bank to be drawn in favour of the “Registrar, North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon”.
Write your Application Form Number, your name and address behind the D.D.
Candidate should fill-up the Online Application Form as per the given instructions and take print out of the Application Form, attach the mentioned documents(attested photo copies) along with D.D., enclosed in an envelop and send it either by post or by hand to Concerned University Department .
Last date for filling Online Application Form is 30th June 2012 and last date for sending the hard copy of the printed form along with D.D. and necessary documents to the University Department is 03rd July 2012. If hard copy along with D.D. and other necessary documents is not received on or before the last date your registration will be treated as cancelled

M. Tech. (Environmental Science & Technology) ADMISSION NOTICE The North Maharashtra University (NMU), Jalgaon (M.S.) is one of the well established premier State Government run University working with the objectives of imparting higher education, research and training suitable to meet the challenges of 21st century. It has been bestowed with the status of B Grade (2.88) re-accredited by NAAC and UGC New Delhi in 2009. The School of Environmental & Earth Sciences of the University is making its mark in the research and technological services through its dedicated faculty and state of art infrastructure. The School has received research project grants from various agencies like DST, DRDO, UGC, MPCB, MoEF, etc. Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to two-year duration full-time M. and three year duration part time Program in Environmental Science & Technology at this University. Hostel Facility: Selected candidates will be provided with bachelor hostel accommodation on the campus depending on availability. Intake Capacity: 20* [12 Regular + 08 Part Time] *The reservation will be as per rules of State Government of Maharashtra. B.E. / B. Tech. Degree, M.Sc. in Environment / Chemical / Biotech. / Biomedical / Biological / Earth Sciences of an appropriate branch of study or an examination accepted by N.M.U., Jalgaon
The applicants must hold minimum of 50% marks in qualifying examination. Those who
are awaiting final year results may also apply, but they will have to submit their result on or
before 31/08/2012 (before 5.30 p.m.). Besides these criteria, candidates willing to apply under
sponsored category must have at least two years Industrial or Teaching Experience in regular
positions and the organization must provide sponsorship certificate for the period of two years.
Candidates applying for M. Tech. Programme will have to appear for the written aptitude
test and interview to be conducted by this University on 24/07/2012. Candidates with valid
GATE score are exempted from the written test.

The UGC-NET will be conducted in objective mode from June 2012 onwards. The Test will consist of three papers. All the three papers will consist of only objective type questions and will be held on the day of Examination in two separate sessions as under:

First I 60 out of which 50 questions are to be attempted 50×2 = 100 1¼ Hours (09.30 a.m. to 10.45 a.m.)
First II 50 questions all of which are compulsory 50×2 = 100 1¼ Hours (10.45 a.m. to 12.00 Noon.)
Second III 75 questions all of which are compulsory 75×2 = 150 2½ Hours (01.30 p.m. to 04.00 p.m.)
The candidates are required to obtain minimum marks separately in Paper-I, Paper-II and Paper-III as given below:
Only such candidates who obtain the minimum required marks in each Paper, separately, as mentioned above, will be considered for final preparation of result.
However, the final qualifying criteria for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and eligibility for Lectureship shall be decided by UGC before declaration of result.
The syllabus of Paper-I, Paper-II and Paper-III will remain the same.
The candidates will be allowed to carry the carbon printout of OMR Response Sheets with them on conclusion of the examination.
There will be no negative marking.
