Result of NEET (MDS) – 2013 which was scheduled for 10th February, 2013 is deferred till further orders
As per the Postgraduate Medical Education (Amendment) Regulations:
“In order to be eligible for admission to any postgraduate course in a particular academic year, it shall be necessary for a candidate to obtain a percentile of 50 and above in ‘National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test for Postgraduate courses’ held for the said academic year. However, in respect of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, the minimum percentile shall be 40.
In respect of candidates with locomotory disability of lower limbs, the minimum percentile shall be 45. The percentile shall be determined on the basis of highest scaled scores secured in the All-India common merit list in ‘National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test’ for Postgraduate courses”

VALIDITY OF NEET-PG RESULT
The validity of the result of the NEET-PG shall be only for the current admission session i.e. 2013 admission session for MD/MS/PG Diploma courses and cannot be carried forward for the next session of admissions for MD/MS/PG Diploma.
Kindly note that the schedule of admissions for MD/MS/PG Diploma courses is governed by Post Graduate Medical Education Regulations issued by Medical Council of India with prior approval of Central Government and the Judgments of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India.

How to apply NEET UG Online application form 2013-14
Candidates are required to go through the Information Bulletin carefully and acquaint themselves
1. Candidates can apply for NEET(UG) – 2013 only “Online”.
2. Information Bulletin can be downloaded from the website www.cbseneet.nic.in.
3. Online submission of Application Form may be made by accessing Board website www.cbseneet.nic.in.
Instructions for Online submission of Application Form are available in Information Bulletin and on the website www.cbseneet.nic.in.
4. Candidates must follow the instructions strictly as given in the Information Bulletin and on website. Candidates not complying with the instructions shall be summarily disqualified.
5. Candidates must retain the following documents with them as reference for future correspondence.
(i)At least four printouts of the Confirmation Page of computer generated Application Form.
(ii) Original receipt issued by Post Office for having despatched the Application Form.
(iii) Proof of fee paid
(iv) 7-8 copies of identical Photograph as pasted on the confirmation Page of Online Application.
6. (a) Please ensure before mailing the print out of the Confirmation Page of online application form that :
(i) The applicant has signed the Form at specified place and affixed left hand thumb impression.
(ii) The application bears the signature of Parent/Guardian.
(iii) The application has been authenticated/signed by the Head of the Institution/Gazetted Officer.
(iv) The two similar good quality colour studio photographs with white background (taken on or after 01.11.2012) have been duly pasted in the space earmarked for it. Further, ensure that application form number & candidate name has been written on the back of both the photographs.
(v) The Confirmation Page of online application sent by Courier shall not be accepted.
(b) The fee can be remitted in the following ways:
(i) By Credit Card/Debit Card
(ii) Remittance through Challan by deposit in CBSE Bank Account with Canara Bank or Syndicate Bank or e-Post Office.
(c) Please arrange documents in the following order:
Proof of remittance of fee
Computer Generated Confirmation Page of online Application
Affidavit (for candidates from Andhra Pradesh and J & K who have opted for seats under 15% All India Quota)
(d) For sending Computer Generated Confirmation Page, use any good quality A5 size (12” x 10”) envelope and paste the Computer Generated CBSE Address Slip on the envelope.
7. Candidates must preserve the Admit Cards till the admission in College or Institution.
8. Computer Generated Confirmation Page of online Application Form is to be despatched only by Registered/Speed Post to :-

NEET 2013 (or National Eligibility cum Entrance Test ) is an All India Medical Entrance Exam for admission to medical Colleges in India for UG and PG courses.
Online applications are invited for National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (UG), 2013 to be conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi as per the following schedule for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses in India in All Medical/Dental Colleges run with the approval of Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Government of India.
Method of Submission of Application Form:
Log on to website www.cbseneet.nic.in
Go to the link “Apply On-line” and open the same.
Read the instructions and procedure for on-line submission of Application Form carefully. At the end of this page, following three links to apply online are given:
(a) Fill in the on-line application form Part-I and note down the registration number.
(b) Make payment of fee through Debit/Credit Card or download Challan for payment in the designated accounts of Canara Bank/Syndicate Bank/e-Post Office.
(c) Fill in the on-line Application Form Part-II furnishing the details of fee deposited.
(d) Take print out of Confirmation page(s) and send to CBSE along with copy of proof of fee deposited through Challan, if fee deposited through Challan mode.
Open the first link, follow the instructions carefully and submit the information. At the end of this page, two links “Next” and “Reset” are given. If you are satisfied that filled in information is correct then Click “Next” otherwise “Reset”. After opening “Next”, information submitted can be checked and if information is correct, go for “Final Submit” otherwise go for “Back”.
After Final Submission of data, programme will automatically take you to second link for payment of fee.
Follow the instructions and submit the fee. After successful submission of fee, programme will take you to third link to take print out of Confirmation Page.
Follow the instructions to take the print out of Confirmation Page and Address Slip of the CBSE to be pasted on A5 (12” x 10”) Envelope for sending the complete application form to the CBSE. Kindly ensure that at least four copies of the Confirmation Page and one copy of the Address Slip may be got printed. Three copies of the Confirmation page may be kept safely by the candidate for any future need. One copy of the Confirmation Page may be completed as per instructions for sending to the Board. The photocopy of this Confirmation Page along with the proof of fee paid and the original receipt issued by the Post Office may also be kept safely by the candidate.

Indian Nationals and Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) are Eligible for appearing in the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG)
He/She has completed age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before 31st December of the year of his/her admission to the 1st year M.B.B.S./B.D.S. course.
The upper age limit for candidates seeking admission under 15% All India Quota Seats in Medical/Dental Colleges run by the Union of India, State Government, Municipal and other local authorities in India except in the State of Andhra Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir is 25 years as on 31st December of the year of the entrance examination. Further provided that this upper age limit shall be relaxed by a period of 5 (five) years for the candidates of Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes/Other Backward Classes.
The candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Bio-technology at the qualifying examination. In respect of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes or Other Backward Classes, the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-technology taken together in qualifying examination be 40% instead of 50% for General Candidates. Further, for persons for locomotory disability of lower limbs, the minimum of 45% marks for General-PH and 40% marks for SC-PH/ST-PH/OBC-PH are required. Those who are appearing Class XII examination in 2013 can also appear for the entrance test provisionally subject to their fulfilling the conditions later.
HOW TO APPLY
Candidates can apply ONLY ONLINE.
Online submission of application may be made by accessing the Board’s website www.cbseneet.nic.in. The duration of submission of application form, without late fee and with late fees is given in FEE DETAILS/LAST DATE. Instructions for submitting online application, payment of fee and computer generated printout to be sent to CBSE are available on website.
Candidates may remit the fee in the following manner:
Through Debit/Credit Card/Internet Banking using on-line gateway payment facility, or
Depositing in CBSE Bank Account with Canara Bank or Syndicate Bank directly or depositing in CBSE Account with e-Post Office by downloading the Challan Form from the website of www.cbseneet.nic.in.

RESERVATION OF SEATS & ADMISSION IN MEDICAL/DENTAL COLLEGES
An All India merit list and State wise merit list of the qualified candidates shall be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained in the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test and candidates shall be admitted to MBBS/BDS courses from the said list only by following the Existing Reservation Policies.
All admission to MBBS/BDS courses within in the respective categories shall be based solely on marks obtained in the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test.
All other existing eligibility criteria for admission to Medical/Dental Colleges Shall be applicable as per Rules and Policies of the State/UT/Institutions/University Concerned.
